Helene Andersson-Svahn, Ph.D., Managing Director and head of Research. Born in 1974. Dr. Andersson Svahn is Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden heading the Nanobiotechnology department. Dr. Andersson Svahn received her Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering at the Royal Institute in 2001 and holds a M. Sc. in Molecular Biotechnology. Between 2005 and 2008 she was Professor in Applied BIOMEMS at MESA+ Research Institute in Holland. Her main research focus is micro- and nano-fluidic devices for cell and protein analysis. Dr. Andersson Svahn has published numerous journal articles in the Lab-on-a-chip field and in 2003 Dr. Andersson Svahn was selected as member of the 'TR100: Innovators under 35 who will create the future' at MIT in USA. In 2006 Dr. Andersson Svahn was awarded a prestigious 5 year research fellowship from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. In 2002-2005 Dr Andersson Svahn was Marketing Director at Silex Microsystems which develops and manufactures microchips for Telecom and Life Science Industry. Currently she is scientific advisor for Silex Microsystems.

Fredrik Hellborg, Ph.D., Sales and Marketing Manager. Born in 1972. Dr. Hellborg received his Ph.D. in experimental tumor biology in 2004 at the department of Oncology and Pathology at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Dr Hellborg holds a B.Sc. in molecular biology from the University of Stockholm. In 2005 to 2008 Dr. Hellborg was product specialist at VWR International, a distributor of laboratory reagents and equipment. At VWR International Dr. Hellborg was specialized in molecular biology and cell biology reagents and equipment.

Sara Lindström, R&D. Born in 1980. M.Sc. in Molecular Biotechnology and Principal Investigator together with Prof. Helene Andersson-Svahn. PhD-student at the department of Nanobiotechnology at the Royal Institute of Technology since 2006, where her research focus is development of microwell based micro-devices for cell analysis and biological applications. During her Master studies at the Royal Institute of Technology, she worked with the "Human Protein Atlas" in 2005 and graduated from the "Stockholm Graduate School of Molecular Life Sciences" in 2004 at the Karolinska Institutet.
