HCS Package
By combining Picovitro Plates and Leica HCS A we have created a system for efficient High Content Screening (HCS) to be used in normal laboratory settings.
The combination consists of Picovitro Plates, that provide the experimental platform for cell culture and treatment, and Leica HCS A, that provide the automated, high resolution imaging. Together they make up an efficient system for automated screening of large numbers of parallel experiments.
A wide range of applications may benefit from being performed in the HCS Package. Examples of applications include:
- Rapid and efficient cultivation and identification of stem cells
- Fast lead identification in Drug Discovery
- Identification of heterogeneity within cell populations
- Efficient studies of regulation of DNA, RNA and Proteins
- Identification and isolation of cells with specific features
- Growth and resistance tests
